Trippen

The award-winning shoes, designed and made in Berlin and surrounds, have become well-known world wide, especially in Japan. The concept is easy: Lieblingsschuhe (favourite shoes) which overcome the ephemeral of fashion trends. That’s why there is never a “sale” (damn) and you will still be able to find the favourite shoes you bought 2 years ago*. Furthermore, the producers are aiming at an ecological correct way of producing and designs which will make not only the aesthete’s eye, but also his feet happy.
Likewise the shoes, there is something down-to-earth but elegant about the shops’ interiors, too. Most striking is the floor from custom-made tiles, showing Trippen shoes en miniature.

* Good news: There is a factory outlet at Chausseestr. 35 (also in Mitte) where you can get shoes with little mistakes a bit cheaper. UPDATE: new outlet coming in june
